An Introduction - New Verbum Product Manager.
Hello everyone, I'm TL Putnam, and I'm the new product manager of Verbum. Below you'll find a short history/bio.
- I've been involved in ministry for 25 years.
- I served as a protestant worship pastor in Wesleyan/Arminian denominations before entering into full communion with the Catholic Church in May 2011.
- You can find my conversion story
- Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgZ6Z9tjuAg)
- and Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j-CvqEZJ2U)
- I was the director of Marriage, Family Life, and Respect life for the Diocese of Tulsa from 1/2012-10/2015.
- I have worked in parish ministry in the areas of Faith Formation and Evangelization
- I host a once-weekly radio program across the Oklahoma and Iowa Catholic Radio networks
- I am married and have a billion children (really it's only eight).
- I lean Benedictine in my spirituality, but all my patron saints are Franciscan.
I look forward to getting to know you all in the days to come. I am happy to be a resource for you as I am able, and do hope that you can be a resource for me as we seek to make Verbum the very best it can be.
In Christ,
TL Putnam

Welcome. Are you an addition or a replacement? I hope you are prepared for some VERY LONG lists of wants - I'm at an age to need to consider downsizing i.e. replacing physical books with electronic ones.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

M.J. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard wonderful things about you and your contributions to the forum and to Verbum at large.
I believe I am a replacement.
I am prepared! (i think)
Of course I can't guarantee anything (other than that I will submit as much as possible to see what new things we can get in the platform!).0 -
Thanks for the introduction and good luck with your new position. Are you going to manage Spanish resources too?

Hi TL, I wish you well in your new role with Verbum. Although I rarely post in the forums, I've been a Logos user since 2003, and appreciate the Logos/Verbum/Faithlife staff making themselves directly available to the user community like this.
thanks,
John

Sorry that I am late to your welcome party but Welcome.
If you get some extra free time please note that there are some other groups without a product manager that could use your help even if limited to commenting to the rest of the office that there was something interesting said in one of the unmanaged forum groups.
