I could see that an update was downloading, and everything went very well, but the little drop-down notification didn't indicate a new release was downloaded. It used to do this. didn't know if it was an oversight or a new protocol, but I thought you would want to know.

There was a time when I was excited to see an update because of new features.

See https://community.logos.com/forums/t/190509.aspx for an example of the problem.
It is referenced in the release notes

Do you allow Downloads to be Automatically Started? Did you receive a notification after a Restart?

I received the notification that the updated had downloaded, and I need to restart for the install to complete. After I restarted, there was no link to the release notes. Googling the version brought me to this thread.

The download for 8.14 never notified as it usually does. I have auto download enabled. I had to restart Logos several times because it crashed several times.
I guess I will try the DL link.

The release notes are in the wiki. Google with "site:wiki.logos.com" should find them.

I believe this bug is still present as Logos had to be force quit tonight on my mac
Bug Fixes for Mac
- Application Shutdown
- Fixed a shutdown crash caused by metadata being updated.

I sent Logs in; it seems when I close Logos with a Logos->exit it fails to shutdown properly.

Dave,
yes to updates; no to seeing the notification. This is the first time I haven't seen the notification, which is why I mentioned it.0 -
Since this update, the Lexham Research Commentaries that I bought today don't download. It tries to update but stops.

Here are the logs:
Rebuilding the index is not necessary, particularly as the Logos.log and Indexer.log did not reveal any issues. The Logos.log was run after the Indexer.log and didn't run for long enough, though. Upload logs after you detect a problem, without restarting Logos.
