SUGGESTION: The Eucharist Foretold: The Lost Prophecy of Malachi
This is a new book by Mike Aquilina:see https://smile.amazon.com/Eucharist-Foretold-Lost-Prophecy-Malachi/dp/164585003X/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
[quote]One Old Testament passage seized the imagination of the early Church—and directed Christian hearts and minds toward the Eucharist. It was the oracle of Malachi 1:11, and it was cited (like Isaiah's Suffering Servant oracles) to prove the identity of the Messiah through His Church and His Sacrament.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

It's my hope that Verbum will continue to update the Emmaus Road offerings, specifically from the Emmaus Academic catalog. With respect to the latter, there are a few already available (both individually and in the Level 3 St. Paul Center Library):
The following titles would be at the top of my list for getting into Verbum:
- Lawrence Feingold, The Eucharist: Mystery of Presence, Sacrifice, Communion
- Fr. Emery de Gaál, O Lord, I Seek Your Countenance: Explorations and Discoveries in Pope Benedict XVI’s Theology
- Matthias Scheeben, Handbook of Catholic Dogmatics vols. 1.1, 1.2, 5.1
- Petroc Willey & Scott Sollom, Speaking the Truth in Love: The Catechism and the New Evangelization
Perhaps an influx of Emmaus Road/Academic titles could even find their way into a Level 4 SPC Library in Verbum sometime in the future?...

Donald -
A question regarding the Formed in Christ books (insofar as these were contracted to replace the Verbum Lumen High School curriculum). Will those who had previously purchased the "Verbum High School Teacher’s Library" package be receiving this set or will it have to be purchased separately? (Nota bene - My order history shows that teachers at my school bought this package in Dec 2014, so it's been awhile...)
Thanks.

That's a great question. I will investigate.

Donald - It looks like this set is going to ship in a couple of weeks. Any word on those who had the "high school teacher's library" getting this set, per my earlier inquiry?
Thanks.

Kevin,
Owners of the previous teacher's library will receive a discount to use on the new version.

Thanks for following up on this Donald. That seems a fair decision, insofar as these are published by SPC (and not by Verbum itself).
