iOS 14 Beta
I'm curious to hear who has downloaded the iOS 14 public beta on their phone and what your thoughts are so far.
Personally I love it and I think there is tons of potential for Logos to implement power features with widgets and shortcuts.
What are your thoughts?

It’s generally stable with only a few minor glitches. Haven’t run into any problems with Logos.
I’d love to see a nice Logos widget with verse artwork and/or bible reading.

Didn't they already have that?
Not on the home screen, only in the today view. Most dont consider those widgets - I know I dont. iOS 14 is really the first time Apple has had true "widgets" (ones on the home screen, like Andoid has had for YEARS) IMO. But I dont know if the today widget would equate to a home screen widget without reprogramming.

Widgets seem as though they'll be forced to go through the transition to the iOS14 style. Even in the public beta the new widgets are at the top and the older version widgets are relegated to the bottom of the news feed.
This is just an opinion, but widgets appear to have always been an afterthought for Faithlife, utilizing only the Biblescreen image of the day. The fact that the images were not optimized for the format (weird crops and too small text size) fuels that perception. For me, the Logos widget quickly became an afterthought as well.
But seeing what other apps have done, there are so many more cool possibilities.
Day One and Photos "on this day"/memories could be really cool in the context of prayer lists, note creation date, past sermons, etc as a way of reminding you of what God has done for you or reigniting past thoughts you jotted down in notes.
Drafts 5 is a great example of how workspaces (similar concept to Logos layouts) can be launched directly from a widget.
Various news app show how Logos can spotlight resources/excerpts within your library like they do on the Home Screen on the desktop.
The fitness app and Streaks show how reading progress for a given book or progress made on a certain workflow.

Just looking for some useful widgets to put on my phone; and the only options I’ve been able to find are the daily verses.
I was thinking something along the lines of accessing my daily reading plan; but you’ve got some killer ideas there! I hadn’t thought of bringing back to memory older notes or studies—but I like that concept. Even just having it display most frequently used resources (or workspaces) would be great.
