Limit Text Width
Hey all,
I have Logos on Mac and iPad Pro. Problem with my screens in both cases is that if I want to read something full screen without distraction, the text has to be either a) super gigantic, or b) wider than a reasonable person can follow.
Have I been missing some magical way to limit the width of the text all this time? I've about had enough and probably should have asked much sooner than this.
Not to bring up the competition, but Accordance has a setting that allows us to manually choose how many inches or centimeters wide we want to limit the width of the text.

Would adjusting the number of columns by clicking on the "kabob" (red circle) then selecting number of columns (green circle) solve your dilemma?

I am missing something in this thread. Why doesn't adjusting your main window size manage the problem. There is no reason that the application has to fill the full screen.

I find it pleasing to have a large undistracting field with the text in the center not filling the whole screen. I like it. And for software that costs thousands of dollars I hope it's okay for me to ask if I can do with Logos what Accordance already lets me do.
Sorry to be snappy, but I am asking for advice, not for recommendations on changing what helps me focus or do my best work.

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
I'm afraid I don't quite fully understand what you are asking for. You seem to be wanting to read full screen but also to limit the width of the text.
Logos doesn't have a manual setting but you can drag the width of the panel to the size you want
Can you clarify further please?

Yeah, what I would like is to have a full screen that is free of distraction with text that is of readable width (I have a large 4k monitor). I can't read a six sentence paragraph that stretches across the entire screen because that is too large. But if I shrink the panel on my desktop then it's an ugly panel with other items cluttering the screen.
I really just want to read a book with a simple view that isn't cluttered but not too wide on the screen. Again, Accordance does offer this option, which I appreciate. I'd like to be able to do the same while reading a book in Logos without taking up the entire screen real-estate if the screen itself is too large.
