Crashing on Text Field Entry

Running macOS 11 Big Sur - Latest version of Proclaim

Any time a text field is clicked to be edited (clicking to search for a new song, changing the presentation date, renaming items) Proclaim becomes totally unresponsive, a beach ball spins, and a force quit is required. This has been the case for the last several versions of Proclaim running on the last several versions of macOS 11.

Wanted to report so that it could be addressed!

Just to note, I noticed there was a changelog about preventing crashes on reuse songs on August 27th, and in case that was in reference to this report, I am still experiencing crashes on other text field entry areas (such as highlighting and changing the "name" of a presentation)

Hi Elijah, sorry you're still having trouble. Can you please go to the Help menu in Proclaim and submit your logs? We'll take a look and see what's happening.

Hi Elijah. It looks like you force-quit before our logging could catch what was happening here, but I was able to reproduce something similar on Big Sur Beta.

We're looking at ways to address it and will let you know when we've got a solution.

We shipped an update today that should provide better compatibility with the current macOS beta. Please give it a try (version 3.0.0.0037) and let us know how it goes!
