Need Link To Latest Logos 8 Desktop
I have an older Mac that I'm using as a backup while my new one is being repaired and it can't run Logos 9 because the OS is too old and because of the age of the Mac, I can't update the OS. Unfortunately I tried installing Logos 9 on it before checking the requirements and now I can't run Logos on it at all. I really need my Logos 8 back so I can use it until I get my new Mac back. The last Logos 8 .dmg file I have is too old and won't install. Would it be possible to send me a link to download the latest version of Logos 8?

Links to Logos 8 are available at https://www.logos.com/install
If you have partially installed Logos 9 you will need to completely remove it before installing Logos 8

I'm not seeing a download link to anything but Logos 9 there. Am I missing something?

What is the macOS version ?
Logos 8.11 and newer are supported on macOS 10.14 Mojave OR newer => https://community.logos.com/forums/t/182626.aspx
Logos Wiki https://wiki.logos.com/macOS_Troubleshooting includes Uninstalling Logos for Mac

Sorry - the information on that page has changed since I posted the link last night!

KS4J's question is interesting.
I wouldn't have expected Logos 9 to try and install on an unsupported OS so worth double-checking versions

The MacOS version is the one just before Catalina.

Which is 10.14 Mojave - which is supported for Logos 9
So you should be able to run Logos 9 successfully on that computer.
What problems did you experience when you tried?

If I remember right, I got a warning that Logos 9 would not run on that MacOS. I’ll have to check the actual version when I get back home this evening.

And just an FYI. I spoke with Logos Tech Support and they said that once to try to update to Logos 9 it actually changes your data to a different format that will not work on Logos 8 so once you try to go up, there’s no turning back.

Yes - that is why it would require a complete removal of Logos 9 "components" before trying to reinstall Logos 8

Actually true for every Logos/Verbum release so trying to open data files with an older application results in application crash (instead of messing up your data).
FYI: my 2013 MacBook Air has macOS 10.15.7 Catalina.

My backup is a 2011 MacBook Pro. Too old for Catalina unfortunately. The good news is I just found out that my repaired laptop will be ready to pick up tomorrow!!!

Also too old for macOS 10.14 Mojave. 2011 MacBook Pro can run macOS 10.13 High Sierra so Logos 8.10 was the last release by Faithlife that was tested on macOS 10.13 High Sierra before stable release. Logos 8.17 may work OK (tested on macOS 10.14 Mojave and newer by Faithlife).
