How Can I Remap the Keys of Our Wireless Presenter?
We run several programs at one time during our church services including Proclaim, camera software, and OBS for livestreaming. When the tech guys switch to another program so that Proclaim is no longer the "active" app, I cannot advance slides using the wireless presenter. They have to manually click on Proclaim. Is there a way that we can map the wireless presenter keys to be app specific instead of just a generic right/left click?

What computer system are you running, John? If it's a Mac, I might have an idea or two.

Otherwise I believe most third party remotes essentially just send a signal to the computer to replace the arrow keys on your computer so it only interacts with the "active" app.0 -

Have you thought of using our Proclaim remote?
Yes I have, and we used to but it just isn't working for us. Even when we connect to Proclaim using the local IP address the delay is just too significant. We have never been able to get a consistent advancing of the slides using the Proclaim remote. Oftentimes the delay was so significant that the A/V team in the back would manually advance it, only to have that conflict with the remote up front. I could never tell what slide we were on. So we hardwired a monitor to the pulpit and use a wireless presenter now.

Hi John
You could have a look at AutoHotkey. It can intercept key presses, hotkeys, mouse clicks, and I'm sure remote clicks, and perform actions based on what it hears. For instance, you could set up a hotkey that when your computer receives a signal from the remove clicker, it firstly reactivates Proclaim, and secondly, when Proclaim is active, it performs the click function. It would be fairly easy to do.
