Dark Theme Problems on Logos 9
Has anyone else had any issues with the new Dark theme?
When I want to print or export notes, I have to either copy it from the export to Word or something else because it shows the background on direct export options as black with a nearly unreadable font. This seems like a straightforward programming fix that needs to be addressed. Who wants their printed or exported files to also be in dark mode? It should adjust to a normal view whenever we try to export it.
Also, when I've tried doing some tools, like the sentence diagraming tool, it defaults with the text and lines all as black still. Thus I either have to change each item to white. However, if they fix this, I fear it will also have the same issue of being a blacked-out background when I try to export or print it.
Overall, great look and feel. I think this export/print feature needs an immediate fix. Having some clear and straightforward way for the program to be smart enough to switch from a default black to white on tools like the sentence diagramer would be a big need in the immediate future.
Any other glitches found in the Dark theme that I've missed? OR is there a fix already that I am missing?

I had the same problem when trying to print/export Notes on my Mac. Changing the Mac to light mode fixed the Notes print/export to black on white. It’s a work-around. Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

This is the same way I've been able to work around it. I didn't think about this being just a Mac issue though. I also am using a Mac. So, potentially its just isolated to the Mac side.

I'm using this post to make a suggestion: could it be possible to have a "dark mode" for the interface only, leaving the possibility to set the "paper" of the resources to white or any other colour, as it is with Office and Mac softwares (like Pages)?
Thanks!

Another issue with dark mode is custom highlighting. All my highlights are unreadable on my Mac (Mojave), Android, and iOS.

The main problem I find with Dark mode is that the red used in the biblical text to show Jesus' words is too dark and slightly hard to read IMO.

The Wikipedia tool is also a problem. All of the text is still black (with the exception of the ToC which is white box) and the hyperlinks are a dark blue...not ideal.

Yes these are all issues that I raised during the L9 Private Beta. They are aware of the issues and I believe they are working on them.

In the options you can turn off "red letter text".

You can’t read names under biblical people family trees.

Great! Thanks for the link!

There are also problems with dark mode in Workflows. Some of the guides remain with a dark font, making it difficult to read.

The Bible sense Lexicon has black font over black background. It is unreadable.

9.1 Beta 1 includes some Dark Mode fixes, including for red letter text.

You can't report a typo in dark mode because the interface is a couple of white buttons... the type is white on white.

As Rod has noted elsewhere, this may be Mac-specific.
