BUG: resizing bible text in Canvas Tool

I inserted a passage into a new Canvas. The text was too big so I tried to reduce the font size. For some reason, when resized the words "Beth Shemesh" in 1 Samuel 6:13–7:2 (ESV) sit above the rest of the text. 

I've tried doing the same in several other passages (John 1, Genesis 12) but these seem to resize without any problems. I also tried 1 Samuel 7 and the same thing happened - place names are above the rest of the text.
