Sermon Slides not formatting properly when being exported from Logos to Proclaim.

Hi,

I don't know if this is a Proclaim issue, or a Logos issue.

Since the issue appears in Proclaim, I'm posting here, although I realize the issue may be created through the export feature in Logos.

In Logos, I create my sermon using Sermon Builder.

I want to modify the slides so that they look the same as they will when they're projected later using Proclaim (I like consistency.)

Here's an example of what I have in Logos:

In the red circle, you can see that there is text on the two slides that I have modified to have custom backgrounds.

When I open the presentation in Proclaim, I get:

You can see that the two slides are technically blank. The text is saved in a text box at the top of the middle panel on the screen, however there is no "Main Content" section.

While I can put in a Main Content section, and copy the text from the Text Box into it, I'm at a loss as to why it is happening?

I'd like the sermon online to look like the sermon that is projected, and that doesn't seem possible with the integrated "Export" option from Logos to Proclaim.

Any ideas on what is causing the issue?

Sorry for the issue Colin; I don't think the images came through so I cant fully grasp the issue. Could you reply again with those screenshots?

    Hi Jordan,

I seem to be doing something wrong as I've not been able to get the screenshots to stick in any of my posts recently, and I've given up formatting slides in the Sermon Builder before exporting them to Proclaim.

I've had a number of issues with getting slides to move into Proclaim in the same format that I think they're in when in the Sermon Builder (the sermon title seems to come in as a heading, and headings seem to come in as a content slide). I tried yesterday to create custom media in L9 and it confused me even more than I already was.

It really isn't a big issue, I'm just too fussy on having the consistency between the sermon builder file and the presentation.

    Thanks for asking though.

FWIW, there are often consistency issues between Logos and Proclaim. I've become resigned to manually adjusting slides from time to time.

    Hi Gregory,

I figured when Logos 9 got the Smart Media capability, that somehow they had ended the consistency issues. However it appears as if the haven't. In the long run it isn't a deal breaker (I'd love it to be fixed but I'm tying their hands by not being able to post my screenshots -- i.e. it isn't fair to ask them to fix something they can't see.)
