Home Page Spelling Mistake
I'm getting a bit frustrated at being greeted by the title "The Saluation of Galatians".... There's no way to report a typo on the home page....
How exactly is the home page compiled?
I'm guessing a Logos employee finds snippets and gives them a title and then sends them down some feed.... Is there some logic to it all????

When did this forum begin to work correctly with google chrome? It wasn't showing <br/> codes before?

"does" should read "codes". Just wonderful in a post related to a spelling error.[:@]

Please fix this spelling mistake. It's been there for over a week....... Right on the home page....
I'm not sure if its the case that I don't have this resource that the extract is comming from cause I could find anything resemblilng it, and it wasn't on my home page when I opened it, so couldn't confirm or blow away my thought that the problem is in the underlying resource rather than the home page. If so a correction to the resource for this one error will mean a re-index of your whole library.

It would appear that it is from the Bible Knowledge Commentary, for Gal 1:1, but the heading from the Home Page has been added manually as the spelling in the resource is correct

Successful design project is all about priorities Damian.
I know that you're quite right about this.
But, seeing as this content is "pushed" by Logos, there must be an easy way to fix the mistake. I would imagine it would be a two minute job to change the heading of such content or there is a flaw in their design of the home page material. (Please note, this is not material from their Blog, a spelling mistake from there I could live with, this is an error in the heading given to excerpted material which is pushed to every user as part of the design of the home page.)
Naturally, I recognise that is may be just me who is so annoyed by such mistakes - but, it does really drive me up the wall to be greeted by such an obvious error every time I open the program.

Plus, it's likely someone other than a programmer who would be responsible for fixing that content.

The content comes from the excerpts resource, which isn't complete. Excerpts are built in one department, compiled in another, and shipped by a third. We can and will try to fix the typos, but it will probably be later in the process... Sorry!

Bob,
Thanks. I'm at least glad that someone from Logos responded.
Guess I'll just have to live with it.

Bob,
I was under the misunderstanding that these excerpts were "pushed" in the same way that the other items on my home page are pushed. If I had know that they were drawn from a resource residing on my hard drive I would never have been so insistent.
What is the appropriate way to log such errors. There is no "report a typo" function on the home page and I can understand that. But how do we draw this to the attention of the appropriate people.

Yes, there are tons of spelling errors on these excerpts but I can't figure out how to report typos so they can get fixed. Anybody know how

The only way is using Report a Problem in the help menu. Too much effort...

The only other way is the forum.
Not direct enough.
