Very Hard to Download Books
I am trying to download a handful of books on my iPad. Every time I hit the tiny download button it opens The book instead. It is really hard to do. This is a VERY BAD DESIGN UI. I know it’s been brought up before but it’s been a problem since the beginning and needs to be fixed. PLEASE. How hard is it to make the button bigger? I can’t think of another app I use that gives me this many fits.

Yes, but are those other apps so unbelievably snappy-cool? Just guessing your (and my) ages, there was an old engineering principle "function before really-cutesy'. I think Steve Jobs was obsessed with it.
EDIT: Another one that's interesting, is in the layout view, counting how many pixels your finger can accidentally move a book-panel, before it's swiftly removed (followed by a bad rendition of 'oh my goodness!).

I agree that the buttons are too small. The workaround (especially if you have several books to download) is to:
1) Tap "Select" in the upper left of the library.
2) Select the books you want to download (using the nice big, easy to tap, circles on the left!)
3) Tap the three-dot icon in the lower right.
4) Tap "download" from the pop-up menu.

Another work around, is to in the Logos desktop app library select the resource(s) you want on your mobile device and then in the Library's information panel choose download to the mobile device & FaithLife application you want.

Thanks all. I know of these workarounds. I just want to see Logos fix the problem that is so annoying and really makes me frustrated when it happens because it's been a problem that's been pointed out many times before with no fix. As these kinds of things continue to show up it feels like Logos is more interested in whiz bang features they can demo in a sales pitch than they are in real world improvements that could make using their app more pleasurable.
I'm sure the devs will disagree with that characterizations, but they can prove me wrong. Fix it.

This multi-Select capability isn't available on the iPhone, is it?

Oh I see now... The "Select" button is only available if you choose the "Library" icon on the bottom of the screen next to the "Home" button. It is NOT available when you press "+" from the "Tabs" view to add a new tab.

Since this is clearly a feature improvement rather than a bug: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app

I disagree. When you a tap a button and said button fails to do what it is supposed to do that’s not just a feature. That’s a failure of design.

The odd thing is that it is much easier to hit the information button, and then DL it from that menu than the DL button right next to the information button. They has to be a better way for them to do this.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree that the user experience isn't great. It needs improvement, and we'll take a look at it.

Be careful with downloading your "handful" of books. I don't know the exact number but each time I download a handful of books the app winds up crashing and you have start all over

Since this is clearly a bug rather than a feature improvement, I wonder if you've already created a different thread to report it.

I have not though others have complained about this issue in the past. When you download too many books onto an iPad, errors start. At least that has been my experience. I do have several hundred on my iPad. The fix has always been to reinstall.
