It is Digital Format, not readers version (if that matters).
There is no text at all. it is merely page after page of images of pages from the book.

This is because with Faithlife eBooks we automatically convert from the text from an ePub as text and images as images. Due to the visual nature of the book the publisher created their ePub with images instead of text.

I don't have this resource, but for clarification: Are the "images" like photographs of the print page? (So they do have "text," just are not in a text format?)

I have never run across this in the past, and it causes me to be disappointed. This resource is for the adult, and there is no "pictures" or even any real, special formatting. it could easily have been made text and not lose any of the context or content. at all. at.all. I have, thus far only run into a variation of this with a book that had some Hebrew language references, and each instance was an image, instead of using a Hebrew font. the ONLY reason I can think of (other than plain laziness) is that there could be some licensing problem that didn't allow to lose the visual formating.
My main point in all this, though, is that the Logos.com website for resources should have some disclaimer that discloses this issue. Saying it is "digital", like all the other digital formatted resources, is deceptive, in my opinion. mi dos centavos.0 -
