Bug with iPhone beta 9.4.0 (0005)
In this beta version, we can no longer select text in the Chinese Union Version (CUV) Bible. It always highlights the text as you move through it. Simple selection is no longer possible.

Can you be a little more descriptive about what you mean by "always highlights text as you move through it"? Do you have "Swipe to highlight" enabled (check from the three dots in the upper right -> View Settings).

Yes, that option is turned on.
- For an English Bible, if I lightly tap on a word, it will be selected and I can get the word definition cards. If I tap and drag, then the highlighting will activate.
- But for a Chinese Bible, I can no longer lightly tap on a word and have it selected. I can only tap and drag, and the word(s) will be highlighted.
This is on iPhone X. Let me know if you can't replicate, I'll try to upload a video.

I believe I can replicate this, but I can also replicate in the stable version of the app. Does this work on app.logos.com for you?
Perhaps you have a video of this working in the stable app? If so, can you also confirm exactly which bible?

I'm on 9.4.0 (0006) on iPhone X on the latest iOS version.
It's happening in both Chinese Union Version 中文聖經新標點和合本（上帝版）and New Chinese Version 聖經新譯本（繁體·神字版）both Traditional Chinese.
This problem doesn't exist on app.logos.com run on the iPhone using built-in Safari browser.
