Hello All.

I was wondering how one comes to a naming convention for personal books. I noticed that many if not all personal books i have seen on the forums have a number assigned to the beginning of the name. How is this being assigned and what do the numbers represent?

The number comes from the forum software, and is picked by it. As for what it represents? I don't know.

Thanks for replying, so am I to understand that basically when users are uploading the docx to share that the forum software is tagging the files with a number that really has no purpose in the grand scheme of personal books? Meaning in reality it would appear to be the forum is just cataloging uploads by appending a number to it and this is not a recommended method or standard for naming books but a byproduct of uploading them to this forum. Do I understanding correctly?

Maybe the number helps the forum save more than one file with the same name.

That is how I understand it as well. In addition, my understanding is that no one has had a problem with PB's that have been shared without that number appended to the beginning.
