Version 3.1.0.0056

Saw this item in the list of changes:
"On Air edits have no effect on the current item until another item is selected."
Either I don't know how to use it or this doesn't work.
While On-Air I go into edit mode on the current item, start typing, and the text shows on the screen as I type, am I misunderstanding?

Thanks for bringing this up. This is actually something we fixed in this version, and I've clarified the release notes.

This brings up a point, sometimes the pastor starts a dialog where he wants to collect congregation input and display it on the current slide. I don't necessarily want the congregation to witness all my backspaces and corrections until I verify the entry is correct. How do I do that without duplicating the current slide, changing the duplicate, go out of edit, and advance to the new slide for every line I type?

Hi Brendon,
In this case it actually probably would be best you go into Edit mode, duplicate the slide your on, go to the duplicate slide, make your changes and then advance to that slide. You can still advance to that slide while in Edit mode. We do have a fade in text option that you could use on the duplicate slide if you are adding in several entries.

Wouldn't an "Apply" button be easier or apply the changes when leaving the slide being edited or closing edit mode?
