Download Twice
Hello I just downloaded Verbum.
What I cannot understand is: Why do I have to download my entire library again?
Why is there noch a preferences where we can switch between Logos and Verbum, for the one which want to distinguish them.
For me as I want both why is it not possible to have both in one?

Logos wiki has => Quick Installation onto multiple computers & => Quick Installation onto Multiple Macs (resource files are identical so they can be scanned into an installation, which copies resource files followed by local indexing)

Logos & Verbum applications have their own set of resources with local indexing. Technically is possible (unsupported & bad idea) to share resource files between two installations for one computer user. Technical challenge is updating local indexing in both installations for any resource file additions/changes/deletes. Resource with indexing out of sync does not show search results correctly.

The Set Verbum to Yes and Set Verbum to No commands work very effectively in Logos installations for precisely this purpose.

Please tell us more about this "Set Verbum" option.
What process is one using to give this option?
When does it appear?
May a decision be reversed once used? (dynamic vs. static use)
Thanks,
Joseph

You need to own at least one Verbum Base Package (the free Verbum Basic should be sufficient for that), then you can use this command in the Logos command box. It does not appear in any menu.

As already said above, you can set Verbum mode to "Yes" and to "No", which reverses the restyling.

Please note that you will have to restart Logos in order for either Set Verbum to command to take effect.
