One very relevant addition to Inline Search behavior:
The search parameters that you set (or kept default) in the panel menu of the Search panel will apply to the Inline Search, even if you can't manage or even see those parameters from the Inline Search bar! Especially "match all word forms" and "match case" seem relevant for search results.
The Inline Search bar seems to have a lot of space available to show those parameters as buttons in order to be clear about the search we are running (same as the Search panel) and even to change those without opening the Search panel.
Such a change has been suggested for many years now - and there's a feedbear item to vote for it which I would link here, but feedback.faithlife.com seems to be down right now - but unless this is changed some time in the future, it is necessary to keep those parameters in mind when doing (inline) searches.
