Control ATEM mixer from Proclaim

Is it possible to control an ATEM mixer from within Proclaim?  Basically I would like a capability that sends commands to my ATEM TV Studio 4K so that when I start a slide show on the PC, it selects the right input on the ATEM as preview and then auto transitions.  At the end of the slide show, I would like it to auto transition to what ever I have in preview (typically one of three cameras).  If possible, I'd also like it to switch my Aux out feed at the same time.

Is this possible?  Ideally I'd like to do it without a myriad of other apps (eg atemOSC, OSCulator etc) but will take what I can!

    Paul, I have not tried something like this before. Do you what kind of protocol the mixers use?

    Proclaim supports sending out MIDI commands, so its possible with an additional app, you could receive MIDI and then send out whatever is needed for the ATEM.

    The BlackMagic Design mixers have a published SDK - https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/developer/product/atem  I suspect that it's non-trivial to add.

    The fact that Proclaim supports sending out MIDI commands means I could use the following tool chain

    MIDI -> OSCulator -> atemOSC -> Mixer

    (OSCulator is a paid app, atemOSC is free.  Both are OS X only)

    It's a bit convoluted though.  It would be easier if Proclaim could support OSC messages as well as MIDI.  Not only would OSCulator not be needed but it would also enable a load more communication options in the future with other pieces of kit/software.
