Highlighting

I am using Logos mobile 9.7 (0014) attempting to highlight a single word in a verse (NLT 2 Ed). I can highlight an entire verse but not a single word or even a phrase. When I select the word or phrase I get the Facebook and Word info along with the ribbon which supposedly allows me to ”edit note”, “highlight” along with some other choices. If I select just a word or phrase and opt for highlight I get NO response. If I select entire verse and opt for “highlight” I get the highlight palette. I do not think this is normal behavior. Am I doing something wrong.
