lol. and here am I (begin) asking them to improve the resolution of the pictures in the books... not sure if it is due to the publishers or not, but it isn't good on a standard desktop monitor (not high in ppi)...

I am not even sure how you were able to draw anything in sermon editor. I get frustrated because I want to highlight and that is clunky not easy to use. Let alone draw anything? I also wish we could edit on our ipad

Drawing is normally done in Canvas and imported into the Sermon Editor.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you find clunky? it might be how you are using it or it may be that a specific request for improvement is needed.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Sure I am specifically referring to highlighting in Sermon Editor. Like many pastors, I look over my sermon the night before and want to make changes, and I do some highlight etc. First, it would be awesome if Logos would do something with iPad somehow allowing you to draw on the screen. However, if you cant even edit your sermon in sermon editor on ipad, which I started requesting about 2 years ago but I digress.
My main issue is in sermon editor. When I highlight text, there should be an easy accessible shortcut, but there is not, at least not that I know of. Instead, you have to highlight with yoiru cursor what it is; then you ahve to click on speaker, then you have to select your highlight color. This is waht I mean by "clunky" if you want to draw in sermon editor forget about it.

I wanted to let you know that we've seen this feedback and have plans to address some of it in the near future. Thanks for sharing and pushing us to improve Sermon Editor.
Hello Phil!
Thank you again for the new improvements to the sermon editor. But...I have a question: Will the sermon editor/builder continue to be improved more in the near future? I have not seen any of the suggestions in this thread being included in the new version. I hope more work is being done to implement these and other useful functionalities.
Thank you!

Phil, note what Tim wants next Problem: Sermon Builder Information side panel can't fully deploy in a layout of 3 or 4 columns. - Faithlife Forums (logos.com)

Thanks Phil,
Since inserting pictures that you can click to zoom in and out might be a little too much to ask for now, I would like to have the ability to insert custom links to resources within the sermon document. That way, for example, I can type DA Carson says in his commentary on “John” etc. — John would be hyperlinked to the actual resource for further study even if I just quoted a small line of what he said. I could say, “oh and by the way I read that he also said this” And then click on John which contains the link to the resource and I can open it and read directly from it. Does that make sense?
When we use a note file we can copy and paste and customize a link into it but we are not able to do the same in the sermon editor, which would be really nice.Thank you again!

Hopefully L10 will bring some of the functions I wished for here 👍 Still hopeful!

It's good to be hopeful. I've gotten used to not upgrading (with $$). So, my 'test' for L10 $$:
- Seriously re-thought search ('search without expertise')
- Zoomable images (reading journals, chock full of imagery)
You're hopeful; I'm not. And I don't know why. Ha.

I’m just glad I’m not holding my breath 😁

I'd like to have the option of having two pages of "Preaching Mode" up so I can turn my big iPad sideways and have two pages of notes up at a time - like when I had them on paper in a 3 ring binder.

I love this suggestion. I'm adding it to our list of potential future enhancements right now and will talk to the dev team about it right away. We have a few ideas on how to improve Preaching Mode so this compliments that list very nicely.

Bumped for visibility! Hopefully the new CEO can make this happen 👍 it’s been too long and the sermon editor still lacks functionality.

I would also love to see the mentioned upgrades, especially:
1. Insert pictures that zoom in and out anywhere I want to insert them.
2. Justify text.
3. Spell check English and Spanish and other languages as well.
4. Insert tables and diagrams.
6. Do and Undo buttons.
