Highlight not working in Logos 9.8
I updated to Logos 9.8 today and desktop highlighting is not working. I am running Bug Sur 11.5.2 and should update to 11.6 during the night. Will that fix it?
If I highlight using the app on my iPhone, the highlighting shows up on the desktop, but my normal shortcuts (Y, H, R, etc.) and even clicking a highlight from the side panel or popup menu does not work.

You've checked that the appropriate Visual Filters are turned on in the select lists under the three balls?

It's possible that the notes file you are using to "host" your highlight is not enabled in the Notes section of the visual filter.
I can't post screenshots to demonstrate this at the moment but is it something you are able to check?

Works correctly for me in 9.8 with Mac OS 11.6. Check again after you upgrade to 11.6.

Thank you Graham. I didn't quite understand what you refer to as "the Notes section of the visual filter." But your comment sent me looking for a notebook and I discovered that it was deleted. (How, I don't know!) Now that it is recovered, the highlighter works.
I thought that I understood notes and highlighting but need to go back to review some videos. I didn't expect the highlights to be in that particular Notebook. I thought they went to "No notebook" by default.
Thank you for your help. Your comment got me on the right track!

Hi Gary,
We have a case for this bug. I'll add a link to this thread.

Thank you, Philana. I have downloaded the Logging Utility. At this point there is nothing to log since I undeleted the Notebook and the highlighter began working, but I have the utility should the problem recur or another one arise.
