What are the versions of Book of Common Prayer being used by the different churches? Which ones are available as a fully functioning lectionary in Logos?
Does a Book of Common Prayer lectionary work better in Verbum than Logos? So Anglican is officially Protestant, and people kill each other over that, but when it comes to SOFTWARE and early church fathers and I don't even know what else, should I be loading up the Book of Prayer in Verbum?

Does a Book of Common Prayer lectionary work better in Verbum than Logos?
They work identically in Logos and Verbum.
So Anglican is officially Protestant, and people kill each other over that, but when it comes to SOFTWARE and early church fathers and I don't even know what else, should I be loading up the Book of Prayer in Verbum?
Most Anglicans (and Lutheran) tell me they belong to the Middle Way - neither Protestant (as the term in currently defined) nor Catholic/Orthodox. It would depend upon your interests and you particular congregation which might best meet your needs.

If I open up Verbum and navigate to my homepage, then click the plus sign and then "lectionaries" I can add the 1979 BCP. The 1662 BCP is in my library, but is not listed as an option to add here. I can add the "Revised Common Lectionary" but I am not sure what that is. And of course I can add the Catholic Daily Readings which is impressive.
Is the 1979 BCP as functional as the Catholic Daily Readings?

No, to functtion as a lection you must own the Faithlife product with the resource type of "lectionary" which has the bells and whisltes to work with the Logos/Verbum lectionary programming. The list of lectionaries that I provided was complete for English, I believe.
I can add the "Revised Common Lectionary"
This is a generic lectionary used by 30+ denominations world wide. The Anglican RCL is modified to meet Anglican usage. We also have Methodist and Lutheran customizations available. the site Proper B23 (textweek.com) is a good place to see what these customizations look like.
For most of the lectionaries you need both the Sunday and the weekday lectionaries to get a realistic view of the use of scripture throughout the week. In the case of the BCP, the weekday readings are primarily Morning/Evening prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours. The Catholic lectionary on the other hand has readings only for the Mass.
All lectionaries in Logos/Verbum behave in the same way.

The local Episcopal church I attend sometimes does use the Revised Common Lectionary, and mostly uses the BCP 1979 for worship with some modifications. Sometimes they'll pull in prayer forms from other prayer books across the Anglican Communion. For example, they were using the New Zealand prayer book for a little while last year (I don't know how long they'd been using it, I had just started attending, then COVID shut everything down and they went online, where they were using a simplified liturgy from the 1979 BCP).

This will have to wait for a sale. Or maybe I can get access to the book some other way through the library or my print disability accommodations for my vision loss.
I am amassing too much book debt and must settle down and study what I have before making any more purchases. My main online seminary courses are centered on Bible study with a strict bias to Protestant post-reformation dispensationalist sources. The courses I am taking are fantastic and I am so blessed to have access to this teaching. But I want something else for my personal devotional time and worship. I have a very eclectic religious background and I feel increasingly spiritually malnourished when I focus too heavily on just my seminary classes.

I want the BCP for my prayer book, though. For multiple reasons. I have used one a bit in the past, and it is not entirely new to me.
I think I can figure out how to combine and balance all this, and continue my foreign language studies. But only if I give up on perfection and mastery, and merely skim some things or watch/listen while I exercise or do chores. Father Mike said that we don't try and drain a fountain, but are happy that there is an unlimited amount of water to drink. I need to drink enough to quench my thirst from a balanced variety of sources. I am never going to know it all, especially if I read this widely. Being this dumb in so many areas of study will keep me humble I guess.

The 1662 is still the official BCP in England, but most parishes use Common Worship. Because a new BCP has to be approved by Parliament, it has been too difficult to revise it. As I understand it, an attempt was made in 1928, but the BCP submitted by the Church was voted down in Parliament. Since then, the Church has authorized the use of alternate books, which don't have to go through Parliament, while keeping the 1662 as the official BCP.
