- close the application; turn the computer off; wait 10 seconds; turn computer on; open application. Does the problem persist?
- do a check of your hard drive? are there bad sectors?
This is most likely a problem on your computer not a Logos problem per se. I'd try:
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
Gerard and James,
Do either of you have a service running named, "Nahamic Service" in your Services window?
You can open the Services window by clicking the Start menu (or the magnifying glass adjacent to it) and then searching "services". (The image below demonstrates what that looks like.) Look for Nahimic Service when you have the services window open. Disabling this service may resolve the problem.
Alternatively we've had success with disabling Hardware Acceleration in Logos from Tools > Program Settings.
If logos is indexing or downloading big files you should let it finish, before doing complicated tacks. Also if you use Windows, make sure all drivers are up to date and Windows is up to date. If you’re in the middle of a big Windows update in the back ground that could be an issue too. I’ve had alittle freezing up. But once Windows was up to date and drivers up to date. All was fine. Oh Yea!!! Don’t power off in the middle of indexing…. I powered back up, took a while to finish indexing. But then all was fine. Best thing to do if freezen. Just power down normally and power back up make sure internet is up and just wait alittle.
