BUG: Focus on clicking Library and Docs
When I click on Library or Docs, the focus moves to the hamburger menu and not the search field, which I believe is a bug. I've explained it in depth in this post. Could someone from Faithlife acknowledge that this has been filed in their bug-tracking system?

Hi Bobby,
I'm trying to replicate this bug. I can only reproduce this with Documents. Do you have any type of scaling turned on either your OS, or within the application if you have program or content scaling turned on?

I'm still having this issue in 9.8. Have you been able to replicate the issue?

Hi Bobby,
I'm sorry, I wasn't able to reproduce this in the Library. I didn't realize my reply didn't save. Can you take a screenshot of your macOS scaling? That might help in trying to reproduce this. Also what type of monitor are you using?

I am using a 2019 16" Macbook Pro with the built-in retina display without scaling applied.
I've included a screencast to show what's happening specifically: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLfrCDwxy4A

This is still present in Logos 9.9. I hoped it was included under the release notes entry "Various UI issues," but alas it was not.

Hi Bobby,
We do have a case for the Documents menu issue. I'm still unable to reproduce any issues with the Library.

What can I do to help you replicate the issue?

I'm still unable to reproduce any issues with the Library.
I just wiped Logos from my system and did a clean install. Both the Documents menu issue and the Library menu focus issue are still present. Are you able to test on a 16" Macbook Pro?

This bug is still present in Logos 9.12 and I'm losing hope that it will ever get fixed.

Hi Bobby,
I am sorry you are still experiencing this issue. I am still able to reproduce this with the docs menu and I have updated the open case we have. I have still not been able to replicate it with the library menu. If possible, could you provide a screen recording of your process in recreating this? This will help me see exactly what you're seeing and aid in reproducing it myself.

Hi Bobby,
Thank you again for providing all of this information. While I was still unable to reproduce this with the Library menu, I have updated the original case to include that as well and I've passed it along to our developers.

Savanna,
So you're telling me that on your install when you click on the Library or Documents button, the focus goes directly to the search field without you having to tab or click to it? In other words, when you click on Library or Documents you can immediately begin typing a search?

Hi Bobby,
I have been able to consistently reproduce this issue with the Documents popup and we have an open case for that issue. I have not been able to reproduce this issue with the Library, and we have had a few of us attempt it as well with no success. I have updated the case to indicate you are experiencing this with both Documents and Library and we have passed the case on to our developers.

This bug is still present in Logos 9.13.

I would be more than willing to do whatever I need to do to help reproduce this for you all so that you can isolate the bug—screen share, logs, etc.

Unbelievable! The documents panel focus bug has been FIXED in 9.14!! Thank you!
Now we need to figure out how to replicate the Library panel focus issue, because that is still doing exactly the same thing that the Documents panel was doing.

I wanted to bump this topic, because the library panel focus issue still isn't fixed. I know it's been difficult to replicate the problem, but it is definitely a problem on my machine, and I'll do what I have to do to help you replicate it.

Yes, I realized that after I posted it and so I did.
