Morph popup

I find the current right-click popup uninformative.  It gives an alphabet soup parsing as opposed to the plain English version given ON HOVER in v. 3.0.  Can we get that feature of 3.0 back?  I refuse to learn the alphabet soup version.

    George,

I agree; I'm not a big fan of the "alphabet soup" morphology. My guess is that it is a desire to save space. However, I can live with it in the right-click menu because it shows a full parsing (including LN number) when you hover over the text. Since I can get the morph while hovering, I don't find it necessary to also have it displayed when I right click.

You get the morph info on hover?  That's strange since I don't.

Yeah, it's down at the bottom of the resource window, floating where the status bar might be if the window had one.

The mouse didn't get captured by the screen grab, but it's pointing at Τολμᾷ.

BTW, I think only the plain NA27 has the embedded L-N numbers.

Any NA27 or UBS4 edition that uses the Logos morphology should also have Louw-Nida numbers. This includes (or will include) stuff like:

Lexham Clausal Outlines of the Greek New Testament
OpenText.org Greek New Testament, graph resource and "running text" (you'll notice we are now using the Logos LN annotation instead of the ambiguous lexeme-based OpenText.org assignments)
Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament graph resource and "running text" (still in progress, of course, but getting closer all the time)
    Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament
    Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament
Lexham Syntax Graphs of the Greek New Testament

I'm unsure if LN annotation will make its way into NT reverse interlinears, but know that suggestion has been heard.

Yes please -  put LN numbers anywhere, especially in preference to Strong's.

The Opentext is much better with the single context-sensitive LN. Why drop the Literal Translation? Has there been any improvements to the morphology and syntax tagging for L4?

We just need more control of the interlinear lines to display (unless I've missed the v3 View | Interlinear equivalent!).

For the record, I'm not too crazy about the placement. I would prefer it right under the mouse.

I don't mind the placement, but the size could be increased.  That's probably why I didn't notice it at first.
