Proclaim Remote problems on iPads requiring reboot of Proclaim on PC

Hi - I use Proclaim Remote on my iPads extensively to preach as well as advance to different parts of the service. Recently, even though I verify that it is working correctly before the service starts, Proclaim remote begins to give slide change errors (or just refuses to change slides and returns to a previous slide), loses its "local" connection and then just refuses to respond to slide change commands at all. We have to close and restart Proclaim on the main Windows computer, close and restart the app on the iPad, and then we get the "local" badge back and it works ok. 

This has been happening regularly over the past couple of weeks. We have gigabit-speed internet in the sanctuary, the Windows PC and the iPads are all up to date.  

Can you look into what's causing this behavior? Thanks!

    We hav been having the sam issues… we use an iMac. I am curious to the reply from Faithlife!

    I just started using Proclaim Remote on an iPad last night at church. It was my first attempt in years. And I had same problem. Extremely unreliable and I would never trust it in a worship service.

    Thanks for the report, and I'm sorry you're having issues.

    It seems a bit strange that you're able to connect with the Local banner, then get booted off of it. Can you please submit logs from both your device and the computer presenting Proclaim? From your iPad with the Remote open, hit the menu in the top right of your screen and tap Send Support Info. You can email us your logs from there.

    In Proclaim, go to the Help menu and choose Submit log files.

    Let me know when you've done that and we can take a look to see if we can figure out what's up.

    Sorry to lose track of this - struggling with multiple positive COVID tests with staff and students at our church's school - not fun.

    For a while if I synced and restarted Proclaim on our sanctuary pc, things would be solid for the iPad remote. Did that today and had to restart the remote 3 or 4x to get through the service. Kept getting slide change errors, and even one flashed message that Proclaim had gone off the air (it hadn't). 

    I submitted log files from our computer and the iPad just now. 

    Thanks for any help! It is uncomfortable when I have to stumble to change slides while I'm preaching or conducting the service.

    No problems today or last Friday at our school's chapel service. Did something change? Proclaim was smooth and responsive today - no error messages, no dropped connection with the iPad. Thanks!
