You will need to create a collection for each type of commentary. Many users take advantage of the rules written by Mark Barnes
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

Hi Christian,
Have you looked into the "Type" categorizations of the commentaries in the Passage Guide? Do they not satisfy your needs?
Perhaps instead of reinventing the wheel, some of your / Mark Barnes' categorizations could be incorporated or reflected in the "Type" designations in a future update of Logos?

I can tell you what I want to do but I do not know how to do it. I want to use 7 levels of commentaries: basic, intermediate, advanced, theological, textual, ideological and language based. How can I do this?

Mark Barnes has already done some of this, but for the rest you will likely need to evaluate and tag each resource. Mark's category of Technical would fit the Advanced and possibly Language, depending on what you mean by that category. Some commentaries would naturally fall into more than one of your categories.

Mark Barnes's commentary collection overview and procedure that is being referred to can be found at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/88829.aspx?PageIndex=1. I definitely recommend reading that as most the work is done for you.
Basically you will create a Collection of the commentaries of a particular type. You could also just tag your commentaries as you required if preferred.
You then 'Add' a Commentary section to the Passage Guide as below.....
After this you mouse over the commentary section until you see the 'Settings' appear. In there you can select the collection from the list, or use the search box to find. You can also use the search box and start typing mytag: which will show all your tags, if you perfered to do it that way.
Then just rinse and repeat for each category as you require.
