Searching EGW materials
Dear Folk,
How would I search Logos for MS 40, 1890 of EGW's materials?
How do I search for a word or phrase in all EGW materials?
Thanks,
Mike

One idea is filtering Library for Subj:Ellen-White

Library filter Subj:Ellen-White can be used for a dynamic collection that can be searched for a word or phrase: e.g. divorce

Dear Smiling,
I am looking for Ms.40, not MR 40. I tried looking through the MRs, but can't find the entire Ms. 40, 1890.
What are the operators for searching for and item ---- "item"?
Thanks,
Mike

When I changed the search from Ms 40 to manuscript 40 I found the reference in TDG. This is a secondary reference. Is there a way to find the whole of manuscript 40, 3 nov., 1890?
Thanks,
Mike

Dear Folk,
In doing further research, I find more confusion. I found Manuscript 40, 1890 in the Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, which I have in Logos. The only way i found it was by doing a search on the EGW Estate website, finding the page number in the 1888 materials, then looking up that page in my Logos 1888 Materials. I still could not get it to come up in a search.
When I do a search in the library for "Manuscript 40, 1890" it only shows 1 result in MR1300. Why does it not show the result from the 1888 Materials?
Also, on the EGW Estate website, it mentions the Ms 40 is in a publication called Letters and Manuscripts. I do not have this in my Logos library unless it is within another resource. I thought Logos was supposed to contain all of the EGW materials. Does it not?
Need more help searching EGW materials.
Thanks,
Mike
