Mid-service continuous loop of a group of service items

Hello,

I'd like to have a continuously repeating loop of service items in the middle of the service.  Is there any way to do that?

Situation: we have a "meet & greet" time of arbitrary length during which I'd like to have a select group of service items show and continuously loop through until we manually move to a service item outside of the loop.

So basically I'd like something like the pre- or post-service loop, but at an arbitrary point during the service and with a different set of content then either of those built-in loops has.

I recently discovered the ability to Group items, which lets me set them all to auto-advance.  But the Repeat checkbox is grayed out and I can't find any sort of "go to" functionality to tell the last slide to advance to the first slide in the group.  I'm hopeful that I'm just missing something easy.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Jason

    Hi Jason

I'd like to have a continuously repeating loop of service items in the middle of the service.

I don't think one can do this as described.

    Work arounds might include....

Set up a separate group in the Post-Service loop and jump to that group from the middle of the service and then back again when ready to resume. The downside of this is that one loses the 'Post-Service' loop unless these slides are repeated there anyway.

    or

Set up a separate service with only those slides in the Pre/Post-Service loop and run that service for a short while during the meet and greet.

    or

Put the slides in a group and duplicate the group enough times so that there is little possibility of the sequence ending before the meet and greet. If you duplicate the slides within a group one can collapse the group so that it does not overfill the left bar. When the meet and greet is over and the greeting  done just jump to the next slide needed.

I would get the staff to do the latter.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for confirming that I'm not just missing something obvious.

Duplicate a group a bunch of times: clever "hack" that I hadn't thought of.  Thanks!
