Proclaim not existing presentaiton

We are having an issue that the presentation, once started, you cannot stop. Once you go on air, for some reason when you hit the ESC key it will not escape the show. You have to go to the top left corner and click on the apple and tell it to force quit so that it will exit the show. Now, when I started the system today, it told me to restart because I had an update and now it is doing this and did not do it before the update. I am on a MacBook Air M1.

'Cold comfort' I know Michael but...
I use Proclaim daily for our morning prayer meeting (all welcome and visitors really encourage the regulars) and haven't had this problem. However I always click on 'On Air' to take the presentation off air before attempting to shut down the program.
I will try the escape key on my MacMini in the morning and report back if there are problems.

This is odd, we will need to do some testing. So far, escape works as expected for me. If this does happen, no need to force quit, you can use control plus the arrows keys to switch space back to Proclaim and hit the On Air button. Or you can use the Mission Control button on your keyboard to navigate back (should be the F3 key on modern Mac keyboards)
