I agree with this brother. It is an important, and one of the few (I think only) expositions of the 1689, and I have used it as a reference in several of my papers. While we humbly await Dr. Renihan's work, this would be an excellent addition to my Logos library.
Modern Exposition of 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith

I have found myself using the volume "Modern Exposition of 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith" by Sam Waldron as a reference material and I would find it exceedingly helpful to have it in my Logos library.

I would agree - please add this book. While you're adding this Reformed Baptist resource please add additional Reformed Baptist resources in general. I know there are already some, but more would be great.

It is in Logos see here: https://www.logos.com/product/49829/founders-press-theology-collection
though it is not Waldron's volume, he does give it a heads up- the author is Stan Reeves, and from what I can see he does a very good job modernizing the text. I do have Waldron's volume and find it helpful, and wish that the SB Churches started their young people on this confession at an early age. Confessions have a greater impact on an individuals grasp for the faith- yes it does cause them to question and look for answers. This result, I think is why most "parents" do not embrace them- they neither take the time, nor study, so they can engage their children in conversation- they perfer running down and buying a shallow book at the Christian Bookstore for them to read and color the pictures in.

Should this be posted in the "Suggestion" Forum?

As a temporary measure, Founder's Ministries has a modern-English copy of LBC on their website. This can easily be copied to MS Word and converted into a personal book.

I purchased the Baptist Silver L7 package, and it came with this Founder's version.

But the Waldron version is still far superior in my opinion.

This is an outstanding resource for baptists and those trying to understand their baptist heritage.

I use the modern one referenced above, and I agree- I would prefer Waldron... and the exposition is VERY helpful and useful.

Another bump. C'mon Logos. Also a hyperlinked and indexed 1689 confession would be nice.
