Tweaking a layout and saving over it.
Ok...I like the layout thing...but I just notice that if you name/save a layout, then you change something in it...it doesn't change the layout and their is no way to save over it...you have to save it as another name..ug...
I have a layout on my toolbar shortcuts area; I realized that the bibles weren't linked; so I linked them but now...have to save this as an alternate layout and delete the shortcut and the original layout and replace it with this one.

Robert,
To save over a layout just rename the "Now" snapshot with the name of the layout you wish to replace. Voila, it's replaced.

The other option would be to add to the right-click context menu for the saved layouts - "update to current layout" or somesuch.
You may notice that I have a thing for right-click context menus0 -
I can't find a way to rename. How is this done?

Mike,
Go to "layouts" on the tool bar and on the R/H side you'll see the current one; click the little pencil and it will let you rename.
When you are done renaming; just click "off" the box and close the window. that layout will now appear on the L/H side as a "saved layout" like the "workspaces" used to be.
