Server Problems?

When I edit slides in a sermon they are taking forever to change or populate. Are there server problems today? Its not my internet speed.....
Can I send a sermon to Proclaim even if the slides are not showing within Logos? Will they still function in Proclaim?

Hi Mike, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
After editing a slide in the sermon builder it should be fine to export the sermon to Proclaim before the slide finishes rendering; so long as the sermon has finished syncing. If not something is definitely not working as expected and we would love to know.
A caveat though is that if you add content to a Sermon that will generate a new slide by default (a new heading, Bible passage, etc) the slide will need to be rendered before it will be saved and synced, and appear in a Proclaim export.

Hello Owen,
I wonder if this is the same problem I've been seeing -
In Sermon Builder, my slides are taking an unusually long time to populate when I open a document. One or two of the slides sometimes simply end up remaining unpopulated. This issue began happening suddenly, out of nowhere, sometime Thursday. It wasn't a gradual change - it was sudden. Exporting the slides to PowerPoint worked, but took significantly longer than usual. I've never seen this issue before (since I started using sermon builder). Nothing else on my computer slowed down. Nothing else in Logos slowed down. I have tried restarting Logos, restarting my laptop, and updating windows.
If I try to edit a slide in the sermon document, the media tool opens, but again, it opens so slowly that I may or may not be able to make an edit.
I'd been working with sermon documents regularly - creating slides, editing slides, and daily exporting it all to PowerPoint (it was VBS week). All was smooth sailing until Thursday. (And, I'm so glad, the problem struck just as I was putting finishing touches on my final lesson - I was able to finish up and export, but just barely.)
As of this morning (Saturday), the problem is the same. About 15 minutes after opening a sermon document, one slide still hasn't populated. (I didn't have time to test yesterday.)
Is this a problem many of us are having?
Thank you!!
Maria

I am having the same issue and furthermore when I export to PowerPoint I don't get all of the slides. I've tried three times and each time different slides are missing. Frustrating.

Same issue here with Sermon builder today as the above Commenters. All kinds of problems today trying to get sermon slides over to Proclaim. I had a similar problem one other time about a month ago. Verse slides taking forever to render. Only half of the slides based upon Headings in the sermon editor even showing up in Proclaim at all.

Owen,
After 3 failed attempts to export my Sermon Document to Proclaim. I went back to old-school "copy and paste" to create heading slides and attach speaker notes from a blank slide in Proclaim. I must admit I've become spoiled by the usual dependability of import. The media tool slowness and failure to publish, just prompted me to quit banging my head against the wall and go old skool.

You guys have definitely got an issue going on and it happened Thursday afternoon sometime. I'm having the same issue as Mike. I thought it had something to do with me being on a public wifi at first and using Logos Online, but when I got back home to my desktop app I was experiencing the same issues with slides not loading and not exporting properly. It's very frustrating and needs to be resolved ASAP.
