My Favorites - how to add to them

I looked and did not find a post about this... which means I'm probably doing something wrong....

But... I am having trouble adding a url to "Favorites" and adding a file from my computer to "Favorites" and then getting Favorites to open that file.  Drag and drop doesn't seem to work or at least I haven't been able to do it...

In L9 I have many such things in my favorites.... and they work in L10 but I can't seem to add in L10 and then be able to open the file from favorites...

So ... how do I do this?

xn = Christan  man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Drag and drop for a URL seems to be working - I've just tried it

and adding a file from my computer to "Favorites"

There is a known limitation here that Faithlife are looking at

Graham...   I admit that I can drag and drop a url to favorites.... but did you close the url and try to open it from favorites?

in your browser... add a tab and go to Logos.com.  Then drag the url for logos.com to your favorites..... then close the tab in your browser marked logos.com. .... then click on the "logos.com" in favorites.  Does it open back up in your browser?  Mine doesn't.

Yes - it works absolutely fine

I tested in 10.1 beta 3 (I don't have immediate access to a 10.0 system but can check later)

You must be running Apple .... I'm running Windows.... and in my windows once I add a url to favorites.... I cannot open it from favorites. It's like it's a one way deal and all I can do is add to favorites...

    I'm in Logos 10 SR-2.

I actually checked it on Mac and Windows and got the same results with both - but as I say running the beta of 10.1

And I've just checked - on Windows - with 10.0 SR-2 and it still worked fine.

When you hover your cursor over the Favorite entry what do you see?

I don't see anything....   it does show "community.logos.com/forum/t/211933.aspx"

But I can't print the screen with that showing...

Edit:  Maybe this is one for FL.....

Edit 2:  Looks like the url address is not complete... ummm....

Edit 3:  I think I found it. I was clicking on the url box in my browser... and it was not getting all the url...  I then highlighted the complete url and it worked.

Weird.... but if that's what it takes.... I just have to remember that.

Problem is .... most (the ones I checked) of my favorites now do not work.   Drag and drop is not working.

    Slightly confused here!

Up until this point, I thought you were saying you had figured out how to get it working.

but I cannot drag and drop the url.....

One drags the icon in front of the URL - it works fine for me on Win 11

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

What icon?   Normally I drag the tab of my browser to a place in my favorites.... What icon are you referring to?
