22.0 (22.0.23) is now available
The Logos Bible Software desktop application version 22.0 is now available to all users.
To immediately update to the current stable version, enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it is scheduled to check for updates.
Updates to Versioning:
You might have been expecting this software update to be version 10.2, not version 22. We’ve changed the version numbering because soon, we’ll be making our latest software updates available to all customers, not just those using Logos 10. So although this version (v22) is only for Logos 10 customers, changing the version numbering now prepares us to make v23, due in February, available to all our users.

- Will this February update be a BASIC version (like Logos 9 Basic) or will L23 include ALL current Logos 10 features?
- Will this L23 be a FREE update (like Logos 9 Basic) or will it be a paid product (which makes sense if all L10 features will be included?

Few questions:
All our software updates are free of charge. That isn't changing.
Consequently, updating to version 23 of the software won't give you access to all current Logos 10 features. Users who want all the L10 features will need to buy the full featureset or an equivalent subscription.

Will there still be a free Basic Feature Set though (which is a separate question from the free software updates)?
update now shows no updates available. Still on

Was the update only for some OS?
Or maybe I'm trying too early...
Scratch that! Dummy me didn't see "restart now"... all is good! Download worked!

I understand you are having troubles with your mobile app on an android device. Is that correct? This thread and forum is intended for the desktop application (windows or Mac).
Unfortunately, I am not an android user and can't be of much help. HOwever, you should create a new thread in the mobile forum. Make sure to explain your issue clearly and provide details such as the type of device and OS version.

Shouldn't the forum structure also change, since there's no more "Logos 10 Desktop App", "Logos 10 Mobile App" etc?

And it looks great!

These forums appear to be out of order:
and I was surprised by the position of Files which is resource oriented rather than software oriented. Yes, I can force logic to position it with software but it more naturally fits as resource.

Can some of the older posts be archived so we don't have to search through so many posts to find an answer? Maybe anything before 2020 could be archived separately. Just a suggestion to make the Desktop forum more manageable. It's really frustrating searching through posts from 2010.
OR
Enhance the forum search functionality by giving us advanced search options to only search a certain date range (something we've needed anyway).
A Google search will remain your best option.

The Logos Desktop App forum only includes posts since L10 was launched in October.

Unfortunately, the forum software we use is no longer supported, so we're very limited in the changes we can make - short of moving to an entire new platform.
If you have not purchased Logos 10, you cannot yet download ver 22. However, when ver 23 is released you will automatically be upgraded to it, if you have automatic update turned on.

I re-read this thread.... here's an analogy...
Say you are a software developer with help... only you... and you develop "Best" software package in 1999. Everyone loved it.... it ran on windows.... was the greatest all was good.
Then someone bough an apple..... so you say "Hey, I'm missing sales by not having "Best" run on apple". So being the money run developer you are .... you develope "Best" to run on apply. It not runs on apple....and windows .... world is round... all is good.
Then windows comes out with a new version... more develop of "Best" to run on new windows version...
Then new machines come out....that won't run old windows.... and thus "Best" won't run now...... more development to make "Best" run on new windows machines..... but you still have to maintain the old "Best" to run on the old machines.
Now.... multiply the above by a factor of say 10.... now you have many old machines and old versions of "Best" ... for both apply and windows... that have to be "re-developed" every time changes to machines or software is made....
So your choice? 1. Hire more people to keep up with all the changes... which adds to money costs....which cost the price of "Best" to go up....nothing is free....
Or 2. make one package of "Best" that will suffice for all. Keeping costs down and hopefully not having to raise price of "Best" beyond normal cost of living rises.
It may not be a good analogy... but it seems logical... [8-|]

It is reasonable[:)]
I trust you know that it is really not about machines, but the different OS versions (Windows/Mac) and that the v23 Desktop app is (still) only guaranteed to run on supported versions of the OS.

Wow. Lots of things addressed in this update, including one that was an issue for me (highlighting results of Bible search in the text).
Thank you for version 22.
I will also add my thank you for version 22 here (as in this other post). Great job!
Awesome, I particularly like this new feature:
Thanks!
