No download option for non-downloaded books in library
I have several books in my library that aren't downloaded. Occasionally I want to access one, but the desktop app has no option for me to download it. How can I download them?
As you can see in the pic below, I can only pull it up on the web browser.
For reference I'm running Logos 10 (10.1.0.0056) on MacBook Pro M1.

Right click the resource, or a selection of resources in Library and select Download.

Here is what the right click shows me.

Do you have 'Use Internet' turned off in settings? If so, turn it back on and restart.

Use Internet is on. I've never turned that off.
Also, I've gone back to check. It won't let me download books at all from my library. But new books WILL download automatically.

could it be part of something you no longer have a license for? something returned? or laggy payments? or that was only temporarily yours through a subscription?

Nope. It is every un-downloaded book. The one I showed in the picture I've owned for quite some time.

Show a screenshot of the right-click menu for a downloaded book.

You're running 10.1. They just released v22.0.23 (under the new version numbering). Perhaps updating to the latest version of Logos will fix the issue.

Yes I can access and read everything on the web app.
You think this is a reinstall Logos issue? I'd really hate to have to do that.
Edit to add: Thanks a lot for all of your help.

Maybe. Can you post your logs? maybe there is an error in a database somewhere?
But unless someone else has a better idea, and if the logs don't show anything (I'm an amateur at reading them) then reinstalling would be my next suggestion.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

RESOLVED
I re-downloaded the Logos 10 engine and installed it, replacing the one I had on my computer. Once I did that, the download button reappeared.

So you didn't have to uninstall it completely, you just installed it on top of the previous installation? It basically just repaired your installation then?

I suppose so. I never uninstalled anything. Just installed the new one and when the Mac pop up came up, I told it to replace the other application under the same name.

Cool. Glad it worked and you didn't have to reinstall and reindex.

Just chipping in here, Mason, to confirm you did exactly the right thing. It is almost always counter productive to mess about uninstalling Logos on a Mac. Updates and reinstalls overwrite the existing program and allow immediate access to indexes and the library.
On occasion when a re-index of a resource is the solution there is no need to interfere with the main program in any way.
I predict that now things are settled they will remain so.

I wonder why updating from 10.1 to 22 didn't work for him then, if both overwrite the existing program.

I wonder too. And while musing I wonder (without any evidence) as to whether it was to do with moving from intel based code to Arm based code.
