How do I change the size of the gaps between columns?
Is there any way to change the size of the gap between columns? I assumed it would be the margin size, but that only seems to affect the distance from the outside of the screen.

If I set the number of columns to two on my phone, the two columns are very close together. Changing the margin size only adjusts the distance between the text and the edge of the screen, not the distance between the 2 columns. I want to work out if there's a way of making that gap bigger.

The term you are looking for is "gutter," which is the spacing between columns. (In books, it is also the term for the margins on the INSIDE of the book, where the binding is located).
It does not appear that FL has an option to change the gutters.
