Best Overall Complete Jewish Commentary?

Hello, I am a Christian and I'd like to see what the traditional Jewish interpretation and commentary on the scripture is. I don't need something incredibly deep, but I am looking for thorough. Not book summaries, but verse by verse, throughout the entire OT.

I have seen the JPS Tanakh commentaries but they only cover a portion of the OT. Is there something like that which covers the entire OT?

There are so many to choose from. Commentary for the Torah is a good one by Richard Friedman. Also other books which explain part better than others such as David Stern, and Davies Friedman Along with Rabbi Russel Resnik and Dr Ron Moseley. There are a lot of resources but they are not all listed in logos but most of the ones above are such as they loved Torah, Yeshua, Divine Reversal (highly recommended) Plus the Messianic Commentaries listed in Logos

Commentary for the Torah is a good one by Richard Friedman.

Unfortunately, that only covers the Torah.

I am late to the reply but when I do studies with some friends we have to use this online source and it is not logos so hopefully I don't get in much trouble. However it would be great is logos could have it in the program as well.

All Parshas you can pick each weekly Sabbath reading with the Chabad sect.

If your studing with altras then you should print it out before your Sabbath study. If your with reform verify that it is ok to use the electronic and internet on the Sabbath. Over all better to study it with whatever group on a non holy or Sabbath day all together. You don't want to repeat my past mistakes and causing stress and angry over the situation of good intentions. Just a heads up they don't have the new testament.

Over all I don't know if it is they (Logos) can't get the rights or not enough interest.

Searching logos.com for rashi included "Rabbinic Bible" commentary => The Commentators' Bible (5 vols.) about Torah

The Expositions of John Gill (3 vols.) include a variety of Jewish insights about many verses. Caveat: John Gill can write longer sentences than the Apostle Paul.

Thank you, Ben. I normally don't do study Bibles. Nor messianic/Jewish (no offense intended). JSB from JPS looks like a good purchase (I have their commentaries).
