just out of curiosity how old was your kid when you started the search? How old was she after? :-)

On my system it tool about 10 seconds (includes the time to type in the reference), what took you almost 5 minutes. I had no waiting, and could type while the system was looking for the pericope set(s).
Maybe it's time to sell that Mac.

My experence are that tthe timing on this feature of the program is unacceptable this point in the beta....your computer specs blow mine out of the water rich and I'd probably have to pay someone to take mine away. so that's not really going to help me upgrade... if what we are seeing at this poin is optimized then I'd rather have the ability to turn this off like we could in L3

Like others though, there is a certain time after working in Logos4 when everything slows down. My recent experience was trying to modify parts of a Search e.g.
verdict OR Guilty
-- just trying to change OR to AND was painfully slow, as was the search time.
Acer laptop (2.5 years old), Win XP, Core 2 duo 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM.
