Updated Release Notes for Alpha 19.1
The app should auto update, but you can always download the latest
release from: http://www.logos.com/logos4mac
This is primarily a bug fix release for Alpha 19. This release should not require a full reindex. Partial indexing may be required if you have resources that were missing.
Fixes:
- Fixed display issue for resources which were updated on 4-28-2010 (ESV, NASB95, LXX, etc)
- Fixed failure to start Logos4 when running on battery power. Indexing will only pause if actually indexing work needs to be done by the indexer.
- Status bar text in the main window is now fixed when hovering over text in resources with reverse interlinear support.
- Fixed a bug in the indexer which caused resources to be downloaded but never installed.
- Fixed a hang when closing Cited By Panel
- Fixes Verses and Aligned views in Bible Search
- Updates for Morph Builder in Morph Search
Features:
Basic highlighting support
Styles are visible in the Highlighting panel. Highlighting can be applied by highlighting text and clicking on a style name or by pressing "Cmd+K" to apply the currently selected style. Highlighting can be erased by selected text and clicking "Erase" in the highlighting panel or by pressing "Cmd+Shift+K".
Known Issues: Currently selected style is not indicated in the highlighting panel. Previews of highlighting styles are not implemented yet. New highlighting styles and palettes cannot be created on Mac yet, although they will sync correctly from Windows.
Common Questions:
Q: Why is this called Alpha 19.1 instead of Alpha 19a like previous interim-Alpha releases?
A: Often users of the forums will abbreviate "Alpha xx" releases as Axx, e.g. A19. Abbreviating A19.1 is hopefully a bit more clear than A19a.
Q: Does Alpha 19.1 require reindexing?
A: This release should not require a full reindex. Partial indexing may be required if you have resources that were missing.
