Illogical behavior of Logos
Hello
I see different behavior for the same type of works.
For example the ESV has Vers, Absatz, Perikope.
A personal Bible (imported as Bible) has Artikel, Buch, Kapitel, Vers.
Not only the order is different, but also the choices. Why has the ESV from Logos not Buch and Kapitel. This makes no sense.
Also in the Quran.
One from Logos has Satz, Absatz, Artikel.
A PB Quran, (I have checked which type of recourse the Logos Quran is, so I have chosen the same by import.) Artike, Stelle, Anmerkung.
The Anmerkung (notes) is clear, it has footnotes. But why is it different from the Logos one? Why has it Stelle, where the Logos one is lacking of this?
Thanks for the fixes

Not all Logos books have been built with the necessary tagging to support all of the different options.

Thanks, but I guess it would be good if the ESV has the option "Book".
And I see differences in the Quran as well. The one from Logos has a "Satz" (Sentence) option, which I guess is automatically done by the import. Why is this lacking in the PB.
I would love if what is done automatically, is present in all resources. For example Paragraph, Sentence, Seach etc.
Thanks

Something I missed from your screenshots was the fact that you aren't comparing the same parts of the interface. Your screenshot from Logos' "The Quran" shows the options in the Inline Search pane, which are used for setting the amount of context that displays around each search hit. The screenshot from your PBB "Der Koran" shows the options in the Locator Bar which allow you to move up and down through the resource. Your PBB Inline Search pane doesn't show an option for the context because there is only one context available, the full article. That's because the PBB builder doesn't generate the Sentence and Paragraph markers that are required for the other contexts.
You can show the Locator Bar in Logos' "The Quran" using the option in the panel menu.

Hello Andrew
Thanks, I was not aware of this. But why does the PB lack this option?
And the visual filter for factbook?
I have checked as what your Quran is tagged. It is as monograph and I have done mine too. So the question is, why does mine not have the same option?
Thanks

But why does the PB lack this option?
Because the PB builder doesn't add the necessary sentence and paragraph tagging to support those options.
And the visual filter for factbook?
Because the Factbook Tags visual filter would only be showing community tags, and given that it's a PB, there will never be any community provided tagging. If you want to add tagging to the resource, you would add that in the word document that the PB is built from.

Hello Andrew
Many thanks for your explanation. I would love if the PB builder add the sentence and paragraph tagging. If I do a search I have currently always use the location bar to go to the hit. Thats not so handy.
Thanks
Fabian
