Turning off Suggested Videos at the End of Youtube videos.

Hi all, I am working on a presentation for a worship night we are doing and I have several youtube videos to play. I can play them fine but is there a way to turn off the suggested videos at the end. Otherwise I have to try and manually stop the video early before they show. I have googled this and I can add "?rel=0" at the end of the url but all it does is turn off autoplay. I think that trick is mainly for embedded videos which is not what Proclaim is doing. Any ideas?

Hi Jason

I don't completely understand what you are trying to do but when I want to include YouTube videos in a presentation I use a utility called Airy to download the file and then incorporate that as a video item.

Just occasionally I use 'Web Page' on the 'Add Item' menu; however I have found that YouTube videos often refuse to play using this method.

All videos and sound can be stopped by just moving onto the next item provided the next item has either its own background sound or the 'Stop Background Audio' cue is set.

My workaround is to use the "automatically advance slide after ___" seconds tool. I plug in the length of the video and put a blank slide after it.

I will have to check it out. Typically I download youtube videos through various websites but it seems that Youtube has been cracking down on that. Thanks!

For a couple of years I had this problem. I used RealDownloader from Real.com. And it seemed like the downloader and YouTube were leapfrogging each other with one creating a block, then the next revision of the other reversed the problem. I finally coughed up the $25 to subscribe to RealPlayer and have not had the issue since.
