So, Matt, have you been promoted to 'xx.0 is now available' status?  If so, congratulations, and Savanna did a great job too!

And a great update ... lots of dead bugs, and multiple refs for Passage Lists!

Could this be the reason when I copy text to place in my sermon I can not edit it? When I copy an article and transpose it to my sermon (in logos), it usually has a box that I double click so I can change the font, color etc..  But for some reason its not letting me do that.  It has the pencil in the top right corner, but when I press on it (edit text) it wont do anything.  Could this be a bug?

Here is what I think was fixed, that maybe is causeing the problem?:

    • Resolved a bug that caused formatting to be lost when converting from a clipping to an editable block.

    Welcome Mike

Could this be the reason when I copy text to place in my sermon I can not edit it?

It is a good idea to use the Quote button so we can understand to what/whom you are responding  (i.e. the first post in this thread)

I'm having the same problem. It's really frustrating! I can't format resource quotations the way I'd like for how I preach. As you mentioned, I used to be able to do that, the pencil is there in the top right, but it won't let me edit or change anything.

Kyle, I believe you are referring to the bug reported in this thread.

Hi. It's been a while since I have posted anything. Everything has been good until this latest update. Now Logos is sluggish. When typing it is like one letter a second delay, which is very annoying. Does this have to do with the editing format issue others found?

The sluggishness has been worked on and Faithlife are testing a fix.

Is it an every six week cycle that the fixes come out, meaning, do we have to wait till the completion of the six week cycle before we get the fix?

Logos will issue a "hot fix" release at any time in the 6 week cycle if an important fix is needed for a problem or crash, it would be a .x release. So If they deem it important enough, look for that when they have a tested solution.

Essentially correct, but a "hot fix" applies to the current version 28.0 and it would be released to all users as v28.1. If it came through the 6 week beta cycle, you would have to wait for v29.0 to be released, or join the beta program and avoid the potential wait (at this time) of 5 weeks!

Sorry - I thought the problem was in the production release not the beta one. For a big beta problem, you wait about a week. For a production release big problem, a hot fix could come out i Logos deems it important enough - otherwise it's tested and update din 6 weeks..

You confused yourself (and me!). The problem is in the production release v28.0 and it is also in the beta v29.0. It is not a 'beta' problem as it originated in v28.0, so a fix will most likely be released as a 'hot fix' v28.1 and made available to all users.  Then it will also be fixed in the beta v29.0.
