Connect Logos with a Kindle account, please

It would be a good improvement if Logos app could establish an agreement deal with Kindle, to connect Logos with a Kindle account, so we could read and search our Kindle books in Logos app.

I suspect it is not an original idea, but I want to stress that suggestion.

I may be wrong, but I suspect this would involve needing to make a deal with the Kindle publishers as well.

Sounds like the Print Library Feature, though I don't know if kindle format retains page numbers.

There was a time Kindle was used in the desktop version but it didn't last so I highly doubt Faithlife will return to it.

This is a good idea but will likely never happen due to significant needs within the rights and copyright liasons. Kindle in Logos would be a good idea for books Logos does not have.

There used to be a feature to send Logos books to Kindle but Amazon withdrew the option.

Agreed. I would love to migrate all my Kindle, eBooks, and, PDFs to my desktop Logos library to take full advantage of the collections, clippings, notebook, and search functions in Logos.

One day there will have to be a universal criterion (ISO type or else) in which the acquisition and maintenance of the e-book file must be independent of the reader app used. In other words, e-books purchased from any supplier have to be read in any app... In fact, if I remember correctly, that was the premise of the creation of the E-pub format...

But I suppose I'm dreaming big... For now, it seems, we have to continue to do our research in books independently in each app, or else use those very complicated (and not always possible) conversion processes.

If I could tag my Kindle books and organize them the way I can my Logos library, and do searches across all my Kindle books, that would make me a very happy camper. I already use the Collections feature in Kindle but it's of limited value as is since you can't search in a collection.

Sounds like the Print Library Feature,

I have input my Kindle and Audible books into my Logos library by using "Print Library" I tag my resources as dead tree or Kindle or Pradis or Audible, etc.

Anything more than this I liken as "I once had a feature on my toyota car, later I bought a Ford SUV, I sure wish I could install parts from my Toyota in my Ford" -- Ford ought to design its products so I can add parts that I purchased elsewhere and Ford received NO REMUNERATION.

I bought into the STEP E-format (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STEP_Library) years ago, but the indexing and searching of generic texts did not have the specificity that I have in Logos.
