Position slider gone in 30.0.0
Why has slider that shows the current position in the resource been removed? I used it frequently.

What did you use it for?
I mainly like the sense it gives for where I am in a book. It gives me a feeling of reading speed and progress that I can't otherwise get from a digital book. It also helps orient me if I have just followed a link. Or how far I have if I have scrolled away from where I was.
I also like to use it to jump quickly to the beginning of a book. Or to jump around inside the book to check it out. Much quicker than multiple taps on the table of content.
I am surprised you or others don't find it useful. Kindle provides one in their app as well.

Yes - I was reading through a book on my iPad recently and found that I really missed not having the position slider as an indication of how far through I was.

Can we make it configurable? I use the slider too, but on small devices it takes up too much real estate on the screen. I'd continue using it on my tablets, but probably not on the phone.

I'm an ex-Faithlife-mobile-er (and my new Scribe is just 80 miles away!). The mobile interface is a mess. And is getting worse.
Then ... the question, why do you want a position indicator? Gee .. I don't know. Maybe all my Kindles do. Percent read, minutes to go, go-back, and hold my position while I explore. Then, there's that other product line ... 'Logos desktop'.
I was just checking the mobile, on my Mac. Right off, they mix a layout icon, with a 'tab' stack. I keep saying, get new people. Waddling around isn't a solution.
I wouldn't be so unkind, if I didn't actually love to READ my great Logos library.

I've not had a problem with it on the phone since the slider disappears when reading (along with all of the other controls). But if it's a question of screen space, I'm always up for configurable options

Thanks for the feedback. It's always good to hear when changes make things better or worse for you.
I can see how it can be helpful as a progress bar. When I'm reading my Kindle, I like to keep the %read indicator visible in the bottom left. But as a navigation aid, this slider was very limited unless you wanted to jump to the beginning or end. Trying to land somewhere in the middle was an exercise in futility in most resources. Is it worth the space for most people? I'm still not sure.

I guess I don't understand. The top slider only shows up when you scroll backwards (along with a menu on the bottom). Or maybe we're only talking iPhone, not iPads.
Then there's also the missing wear-marks (which Kindle offers).
Seems you're suggesting Kindle as the desired reading platform (essentially peddling backwards on the FL mobile for reading).

Please, put the slider again in the next version of Bible Logos.
