BUG: Logos Uses 'Microsoft David' System Narrator even when a different voice is selected
This is an old bug but I had hoped maybe switching to Windows 11 would make it go away. Alas, no. No matter what system narrator voice I have selected in Windows Settings, Logos will only read aloud with Microsoft David. It won't use any of the other computer-sounding voices or any of the natural-sounding voices. It will only read with Microsoft David.

You can change the voice, you are probably just trying in the wrong place. I assume, the information in this thread is still true: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/204922.aspx
And as I said 7 years ago: I "Can't believe Windows 10 11 still has related settings in two different places". And 7 years later it's even more ridiculous... Guess by now Logos could have made it possible to change those settings inside the program or at least added a link to the right place or at the very least included that information in the help file...

I only have David and Zira in the Control Panel. So I have even fewer choices than in regular settings. But changing the voice to Zira there did work, I just don't want that voice either.

For me it was just important to be able to switch languages, so I hadn't previously really tried out other voices.
You can get a few more voices from Microsoft either by going through the registry or by using an installer that does it for you (I've only tried the latter)
There are some threads on the forum about adding commercially available voices, for example https://community.logos.com/forums/t/105782.aspx?PageIndex=1

There are several web sites now that allow you to create voices or even clone your own voice, but I don't know if there is any site that allows you then to download and install that voice into Windows.
