Friend of God by John Lennox - Failed pre-pub
I haven't seen this before. I've had the above book on order since it went into the pre-pub program. It was due to release on Jan 18, but didn't. I checked my pre-pubs this morning and noticed it did release Jan 19, but the automated ordering process didn't work and the book was still showing in my pre-pubs. As it was an ebook the pre-pub price is no cheaper, so I've manually ordered. There may be others waiting for the book. I've let Logos customer service know. Attached is the screenshot for how the book appeared in my pre-pubs this morning.

This happens all the time for me with FLEB pre-orders. I know it has been brought up in the past but it hasn't been fixed. It happened to me a few weeks ago as well.

I've seen plenty of release dates slip, but are you saying books get released and the automated pre-order doesn't happen on a regular basis too?

Past experience for me is yes with FLEB titles.

If I remember right, if the automated process of convertin the epub from the publisher into Logos format fails, then the publication date is pushed one day into the future. So the prepub date gets pushed forward day by day without anything happening to the actual release.
I had this happen to a pre pub before too.
Wait for FL to see this thread and fix the conversion process

Just to be clear I was able to buy (and download) the book this morning. So the conversion process worked fine.

Yes, I have had this happened before too. It's nothing new and I don't expect it go get fixed. FL put no effort into the quality of e-books or to the process behind them. They only react when someone gets upset by a title their set and forget processes allow to slip through the cracks from a publisher back catalogue.

IIRC they recently upgraded the processing of e-books and cleaned up some of the titles we complained about.
