I wonder why publishers are very keen for Faithlife ebooks to sell non Christian books and yet some seeming forget to include Faithlife ebook when it comes to sales for books targeted at Logos' key market.

Have you ever tried writing directly to Thomas Nelson?

...but it is only a "missing sale" if it is actually, you know, a missing sale.

This book is not on discount at CBD or Nook... so this appears to be a Kindle only sale.

No. I've occasionally encouraged publishers via their Twitter account. Personally I'd like Logos to be taking up the point with the publishers' reps.

Although Thomas Nelson seem to have a pattern of not including Faithlife ebook sales that are widely available elsewhere.

    I can't speak to that.

There was a period of time where I had a contact that worked directly with Vyrso (now FLEB) and emailed him when there were missing sales. He was very prompt at responding. However, it is important to note: Logos does NOT have a "price matching" policy. The pricing of FLEB titles are largely set by the publishers. The pricing does not always get automatically adjusted. When a book is supposed to be on sale, Logos can adjust the pricing manually (when verified in time).

My point above was simply that the sale appeared to be a "Kindle only" deal as the other two retailers I mentioned did not have the book on discount either.

Like you I too used to have a contact at Logos who worked in the Faithlife ebooks side. She mentioned that during COVID a lot of the publishers' sales reps were let go. Whenever I spotted an apparently missing sale, she would contact the publisher to endeavour to get access to the sale pricing. I'm quite sure Amazon is the biggest market for publishers' ebook sales, which may be why other outlets aren't always included either. It's just a shame if Christian resellers are overlooked for Christian ebook sales. As I've mentioned before, I will only buy Kindle books on sale if I'm very keen to buy the book, whereas I'm less discerning when it comes to buying sale books from Faithlife ebooks. The book at the start of this post being a perfect example. I didn't buy it from Amazon, but would have done as a Faithlife eBook.
